1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CFax (cfax.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

CFax provides vehicle history reports based on Carfax data for cars from the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. Reports contain information about accidents, mileage, ownership history, service records and more, sourced from the AllReports/Carfax database.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts for the same person are not permitted.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Report Credits and Payments

• Reports are purchased using credits (1 credit = 1 report). Credits are added to your balance by purchasing a package.
• Credits do not expire once added to your balance.
• Payments are processed securely. We do not store card details.
• Purchased credits are non-refundable unless the report could not be delivered due to a technical error on our side.

5. Permitted Use

Reports may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes — for example, when considering the purchase of a used vehicle. Resale, redistribution or commercial use of report data is strictly prohibited.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

CFax provides reports on an 'as-is' basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the data. Vehicle history data depends on records reported to the Carfax database. Not all incidents may be recorded.

7. Limitation of Liability

CFax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our reports. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific report in question.

8. Intellectual Property

The CFax platform, design and underlying code are our property. Report content is licensed from Carfax/AllReports and may not be reproduced without authorisation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
